What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the address of the property you want cleaned. We also collect the details you give us about the job: property type, approximate number of windows, whether you want interior or exterior cleaning, any add-on services, your preferred timeframe, any notes you write, and any photo you choose to upload.

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address and your message.

We collect this because we cannot price a window cleaning job without knowing where it is and what is involved. We do not ask for anything we do not need to quote or complete the work.

What we do with it

We use your information to prepare your quote, contact you about it, and carry out the work if you book us. That is the whole purpose.

We will only send you marketing or promotional email if you ticked the consent box when you requested a quote. That box is unticked by default and we record your choice. Replies about a quote you asked for are not marketing and do not depend on that box. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for advertising. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

Who else can see it

Two service providers process data on our behalf, and only to make this website work:

Cloudflare hosts the website and stores quote requests in an encrypted database. Resend delivers the notification email that tells us a quote request has come in.

Both act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes. We do not disclose your information to anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How we protect it

Quote requests are stored in a database that is encrypted at rest and has no public address — it can only be reached by the website's own server code, not from the open internet, and there is no password or key that could be leaked to expose it.

The page where we review quote requests is protected by Cloudflare Access, which requires a verified sign-in from an approved owner email address. If that protection is ever missing, the page refuses to display anything rather than risk showing your information.

The whole site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the quote form is encrypted in transit.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for up to 24 months from the date you send them, so that we have a record of work quoted and completed. After that we delete them.

If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it — for example, records tied to an invoice we have to retain for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to marketing email. Email us and we will respond within 30 days, which is the timeframe PIPEDA sets.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

If something goes wrong

If there is ever a breach of our security safeguards that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and tell you as soon as feasible, as PIPEDA requires. We keep a record of any breach, whether or not it meets that threshold.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party trackers. We do not track you across other websites.
